Youthonomics is a one-week summer program designed to expose youth, grades 7 through 12, to financial literacy. The goal is to ensure that youth gain the necessary skills that will make a difference in how they manage their finances as adults. The program uses curriculum addressing four components: Budgeting, Savings, Credit, and Investing.

It was very important to the client that the dollar symbol be used in the logo. At the same time it was important to convey the idea that this is a youth program. We were able to accomplish both with the child-like figures and incorporating the "$" in the negative space. The 2-tone green further emphasized both "currency" and "growth" referring to the investing concept.
